Originally from inner city Boston, she has an extensive background in art and design. Before making her way into the kitchen, [she] worked for many years as a program director at Northwestern University. Most recently– instrumental in opening ‘Charley Noble Sandwich Shop’ in Portage Park and spent the past three years as Director of Operations for ‘Thrift & Thrive Inc’. Her food is heavily influenced by her Polish heritage and the multicultural landscape of Chicago, which she has called home for over 13yrs. She lives in Portage Park with her husband, Adam Smith of ‘Maplewood Brewing and Distilling’, their three dogs, and a cat.
